Achieve Success By Limiting Yourself!

images Achieve Success By Limiting Yourself!

We can achieve success faster by putting limits on things that we do everyday. What does this mean you ask? You may be saying, “This guy’s an idiot! If I limit myself, I can’t achieve my full potential.”

Hmmmm! The 1st thing YOU should limit is your unwillingness to dig DEEPER!

1.Limit your television time.

Why do we spend countless hours watching the “Time Violator” (T.V to most)? Use your time wisely by reading uplifting books and stop wasting precious time cheering on others living “Their” dream. It’s sad that we can tell you who are the finalist on American Idol, or who Flavor Flav chose to be his sidekick. Put down the remote and carry out “Your” dreams.

2.Limit your personal circle.

I have a lot of associates/partners that I’ve grown up with and we have been through a lot of things growing up. Even now I have associates/partners that are a great group to hang with, but sometimes we found ourselves hanging around doing…”Nothing”…just hanging. Everyone has that circle of friends that do not have the desire to achieve success. This does not mean to disown your friendships so don’t get me wrong, but learn to separate your “Nothing” time and your “Doing” time. Spend more time on “You” and your business “now”…. so that you can play “later”.

3.Limit your spending.

It’s nice to have the “bling-bling” or the latest shoes. Having a new Coach purse and a pair of shoes every other WEEK is o.k too…to a degree.
Don’t keep spending, spending, spending on things you really don’t need at the time. Put some money away for things like…

A. Marketing Materials
B. Business Overheads
C. Conventions & Business Meeting Costs
D. Etc…Etc…
And don’t treat “credit” as a stepchild or a way to continue getting by either. If something is too expensive for your taste at the time…it’s not worth getting until you just “Got it like that”! Until then, stick to this motto…..
“Lay-away or “No” way!!

Use your money “Wisely”

There is a treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.  Proverbs 22:20
(Alright…let me get out of there)

4.Limit the negative arena.

Stop hanging in areas of negativity. Don’t allow ourselves to fall for anything that a naysayer may say about your vision like……

A. Negative Chat Rooms & Forums
B. Negative People
C. Negative Television Shows And/Or Literature
D. Etc…Etc…

Have I hit on enough key points to help you in your journey to achieve success?

By you not avoiding these things, it will allow “YOU” to kill your vision a whole lot quicker. It’s what I call a “Mental Genocide”. When you are facing things of such nature, do an “About Face” and RUN!

Follow some of these steps and you too, can achieve success.

 Short Success Stories Of Entrepreneurs

Do you know of any short success stories on entrepreneurs?
Before you answer that…what defines success to you? In my opinion, success can be financial, spiritual, a mentality change or overcoming a health issue. Success can come many ways to many people but what is your success story? I can share my short success story in network marketing because it’s something I do and something I enjoy. Success to me is also being able to walk away from a job and be a full time father, continuously earning residual income from my successful home business. I can share with you the people that I have helped to become successful and about  being able to be in control my own time…..that is success to me…that is my short success story.

Too many times people write numerous articles or stories about what someone else did. That’s their success……what is yours. It’s great to give praise to someone on their success but at the end of the day, they’re probably thanking you for the free advertisement. I’ve told stories of many other successful people that I personally know….not focused on people that earn “x” amount of dollars and have 2 rings that I’ve never even spoken to. I know that the successful friends that I may speak of can share my story to people they know. What do people say about you?

Sometimes we get wrapped up in sharing someones story, just to get someone into our business. The problem with that is, we forget to share with them how long that person has been doing the business and that everyone realistically won’t accomplish the same. We forget that even though Tom and Louis did it when they started 7 years ago, it’s not as easy as it appears. Develop your own short success story so that people can look to you when they need advice or success tips. Focus on how many people you have personally helped and in doing so, they can share your short success stories on entrepreneurs.
