Facebook is a great place for connecting.
People are connecting, finding relatives, marketing on Facebook and having fun with the various games on the site. What is your ultimate goal on Facebook? Is it for friendships, marketing or just to pass the time away? How would things be if Facebook shut down for the day? Here is part 2 of my Facebook experience. It is the follow up to “How I Was Assaulted On Facebook“
Have you ever been on Facebook, only to be bombarded by a million Next Best Opportunities? I believe Facebook to be a great outlet for socializing as well as marketing, but there are a few people that only have conversations of “Join Now” or “We Have The Best Comp Plan”. Gets a little tiresome at times doesn’t it? You’d think after all this time, they’d get to know you first huh?
Sometimes when I look at my wall, I wonder if I should block certain people or just delete them. Just the other day, well…..just look at the video below to see what I mean. Then afterwards, look at my follow up video, “My Facebook Experience.“
Does pay per click (PPC) work and is it for everyone? Well, it DOES work, but it all depends on a few factors, such as content added and the keywords used for starters.
It works something like this in a nutshell.
Let’s say, for instance, you just started ahome based business. You can use a service such as Google Adwords to get started. You will then fill out information concerning what your title will be, a short description, and the cost you are willing to pay each time someone clicks on your ad.
Once doing so, let’s say your keyword is“Elite Profit Network”. So now when someone goes to the Google Search Engine and types in “Elite Profit Network” , your link will appear in the sponsored link area. Please note that with a keyphrase as common as “Elite Profit Network” , there may be a lot of competition so if you don’t see it the first time, hit refresh or go to the next page until it appears.
This is where the “Pay” in ppc comes in. Each time someone puts in “Elite Profit Network” and they click on your link, money will be deducted from your Google Adwords account, depending on what amount you set to be taken from each click. Typically you can start out with 10 cents per click but as the keyword you chose gets more and more popular, the price will increase.
Does pay per click (PPC) work? Is this for everyone? Well, yes and no…let me explain.
In my opinion I will say “Yes” for someone that hasn’t a lot of time to market online but has the extra money to do so. Clicking on your link won’t automatically bring results, but you may get a lot more exposure.
By that same token I will say “No” because as the clicks come through, it can get very expensive if you don’t have the right budget. I hope this helps to knowing if Pay Per Click (PPC) will work as one of your marketing strategies.
